She is a slight build but is certainly not frail. She has long dark brown hair and brown eyes and a proper English Rose complexion. Point in canon: After the departure of Mr Whickham Lizzie was invited to take a tour of Derbyshire with her Aunt and Uncle, The Gardiners. They have just reached Pemberley but the news of Lydia’s elopement has not yet broken. Personality: Lizzie is of her time in some ways and very much a modern woman in others. She is intelligent, witty and playful although she is restrained and well mannered. She is accomplished in that she can play piano and sing well enough. She draws a little and reads a wide selection. She also knows that she is bright and whilst modest she likes her self well enough that she would not suffer being insulted. Lizzie loves her family however she is often pained by the behaviour of her mother and younger sisters. History: Elizabeth is the second daughter of five in the Bennett household. She is not yet three-and-twenty. Elizabeth has lived in neat Meryton in Hampshire for all her life. Her family do not spend the season in London as her Father prefers to stay in the country. Family: Mr Bennett is a man who really married beneath him and he bears it tolerably well, he is a liberal Father only really caring for his two eldest daughters as he considers them to be the sensible ones. Mrs Bennett is a woman of nerves regularly taking to her bed when things upset her and many things upset her. She wants the best for her daughters and to that end has all of them out in society to get them married off as soon as possible. Miss Jane Bennett she is the eldest daughter and is closest to Lizzie, they share everything and are incredibly close. Jane is considered a great local beauty and has a gentle giving nature. She is in love with Mr Bingley. Mary is the third daughter in the brood she is serious, dour and plain. As she knows that she is no great beauty she puts all her efforts into making herself accomplished. As the middle child she often gets forgotten about. Kitty the second youngest is lively and playful and a sheep, she is a follower and easily influenced. She adores the young officers in the Militia. Lydia the youngest and the most obnoxious flirt.
